Project Overview
This kitchen remodel was all about creating a space that felt brighter, more open, and more functional for everyday life.
The original layout left the homeowners feeling frustrated—it was dark, congested, and lacked both storage and seating. They had begun updating other parts of their home and were ready to tackle the kitchen, hoping to transform it into a space they actually enjoyed spending time in.

Scope of Work
This kitchen remodel focused on transforming a dated, closed-in layout into a bright, welcoming space that blends classic charm with contemporary style.
The angled peninsula was removed to open up the flow, making room for a spacious central island that now serves as both a gathering spot and a functional work zone. New recessed panel wood cabinetry in a soft almond stained, natural finish replaced the original oak cabinets, offering a clean, modern look while maintaining warmth and character. Cabinetry was extended to the ceiling to maximize storage and create a polished finish.
Durable white quartz countertops were installed along with a sleek gray tile backsplash displayed in an herringbone pattern behind the range, adding visual interest without overwhelming the space.
Large-format vinyl tile flooring in a neutral tone helped unify the space and enhance its clean lines.
Updated recessed lighting brightens the entire room, while stylish pendant lights above the island add both function and flair.
The layout was reconfigured for improved workflow, with upgraded appliances and thoughtfully chosen fixtures that bring the whole design together.
The result is a kitchen that feels fresh, open, and perfectly suited for everyday living.

This remodel followed a thoughtful, one-month Project Development phase, where we worked closely with the homeowners to refine the design, make material selections, and finalize all the details. The pre-production phase, including the ordering of materials, determining product lead times, and scheduling with trade partners, spanned just over a month. A typical kitchen remodel usually takes 6 to 10 weeks to complete. Taking the time upfront ensured a clear, well-aligned plan—and it paid off. Once construction began, the project moved smoothly and stayed right on schedule, wrapping up in just six weeks. The seamless production phase was a reflection of the careful planning that went into every decision before the first tool hit the job site.
