Project Overview
This project was a long-anticipated refresh for a homeowner who had lived with her kitchen and bathroom for many years but never felt fully connected to their look or feel. While the spaces functioned, the dated cabinetry style, worn elements, and overall aesthetic no longer reflected her taste, making the rooms feel uninspiring and, at times, a source of embarrassment when hosting. After thinking about a remodel for years, she was ready to create spaces that felt brighter, more comfortable, and truly aligned with her personal style.
Rather than changing the layout, the focus was on thoughtfully reimagining the finishes to transform how the spaces looked and felt. Through updated cabinetry, new appliances, and carefully coordinated materials, the kitchen and bathroom were refreshed to feel warm, cohesive, and timeless. Extra attention was given to the selection process — especially finding the perfect cabinet color — ensuring the final result felt intentional and uniquely hers, turning once-frustrating spaces into ones she can now enjoy every day.

Scope of Work
This project focused on refreshing both the kitchen and bathroom with thoughtful design updates that improved the overall look, feel, and functionality while maintaining the existing layout.
In the kitchen, the cabinetry was updated with a new painted finish and revised door style to replace the dated appearance while still complementing the warmth of the original wood tones. Hardware was replaced to introduce a more current look, and new appliances were installed to improve both performance and visual consistency. Countertops, fixtures, and select finishes were refreshed to brighten the space and create a cohesive palette. Lighting and finishing details were also updated to enhance the overall ambiance and usability of the room.
In the bathroom, finishes and fixtures were refreshed to align with the updated style of the home, creating a cleaner, brighter environment. Material selections were coordinated with the kitchen to ensure visual continuity between the spaces.
Throughout the project, significant attention was given to the design and selections process. Multiple finish options were reviewed, showrooms were visited, and a custom painted cabinet door sample was created to confirm the final color choice. This collaborative approach ensured every detail felt intentional, resulting in spaces that reflect the homeowner’s style while improving everyday comfort and enjoyment.

During Project Development, the process centered heavily on selections and ensuring every finish worked harmoniously together. Because choosing the right cabinet color was so important, extra time was spent reviewing samples, visiting showrooms, and refining details so the homeowner felt confident in every decision. The pre-production phase, including the ordering of materials, determining product lead times, and scheduling with trade partners, spanned just over a month. Once construction began, this kitchen remodel was completed in just 4 weeks, right on track with a typical kitchen remodel timeline. With additional guidance and hands-on support throughout project development, the project moved forward with clarity and intention — resulting in a design that feels thoughtful, cohesive, and tailored specifically to her vision.
