Project Overview
This first-floor remodel was all about transforming a disconnected, outdated space into one that reflects the homeowners' modern lifestyle and aesthetic. With a love for cooking, entertaining, and clean design, the clients wanted a space that felt bright, open, and functional. The original kitchen was closed off, short on prep space, and lacked storage and seating—making everyday tasks feel like a challenge.
Our design focused on opening up the layout, modernizing the finishes, and introducing thoughtful features like a large prep island, smart lighting, and a dedicated beverage fridge. The result is a space that feels cohesive, contemporary, and tailored to the homeowners' needs.

Scope of Work
To bring the homeowners’ vision to life, we began by removing interior walls to open up the layout and create a seamless flow between the kitchen, dining, and living areas.
A large kitchen island was added as a central feature, providing generous prep space, bar stool seating, and a built-in beverage fridge to accommodate their daily routines.
We replaced the original finishes with updated materials, including sleek LVP flooring throughout the first floor, white cabinetry with modern hardware, and striking black granite countertops paired with a coordinating backsplash. Contemporary pendant lighting and recessed ceiling fixtures were installed to brighten the space and enhance the modern feel.
We also reimagined the stairway with custom black railings that provide both safety and a clean, stylish look.
Additional upgrades included a high-tech kitchen sink and an Alexa-controlled smart lighting system. Every design decision was made with the homeowners' lifestyle in mind, resulting in a space that is not only beautiful, but highly functional and personalized.

This project followed a well-planned timeline, guided by the homeowners’ clear vision and thoughtful decision-making. They spent approximately two months in the Project Development phase, collaborating closely with our design team to finalize the layout, make material selections, and ensure the design reflected both their aesthetic and functional goals. Pre-production spanned just over a month and included ordering materials, confirming lead times, and coordinating with trade partners to prepare for a smooth start. Due to the large scope of the remodel construction took closer to ten weeks. This timeline falls on the longer end of our typical range for kitchen projects, but was necessary to achieve the comprehensive transformation. The extended production phase allowed for careful execution of the details that make this space truly special.
