Mary and Wade's Kitchen and Primary Bathroom Remodel
Lancaster, Pennsylvania
LANCASTER, PA KITCHEN REMODEL
Modern Cottage Comfort
Frustration with poor layout, limited storage, and everyday inefficiencies led the homeowners to reimagine both their kitchen and bathroom. Outdated features and cluttered spaces made daily routines more difficult than they should be. Mary and Wade's goal was simple: create spaces that feel clean, organized, and highly functional without sacrificing style.
Project Goals
-
Improve functionality and flow in both the kitchen and primary bathroom
-
Increase storage to reduce clutter and simplify everyday routines
-
Create a calm, cohesive aesthetic that feels both fresh and inviting
The Challenge
Both the kitchen and bathroom were creating daily frustration due to poor layout, limited storage, and outdated features. In the kitchen, an awkward two-height island, hard-to-reach cabinetry, and lack of organization made cooking and cleanup inefficient. The bathroom faced similar issues, with minimal enclosed storage and dated elements that left the space feeling cluttered and impractical. Together, these spaces no longer supported the homeowners’ day-to-day needs.
The Solution
Through a thoughtful design-build approach, both spaces were reimagined to prioritize function, organization, and comfort. The kitchen layout was simplified with a single-level island, improved cabinetry, and better lighting—creating a more open and efficient workspace. In the bathroom, a new vanity and integrated storage brought both warmth and practicality, while updated finishes elevated the overall feel. The result is a cohesive transformation that blends modern functionality with a calm, welcoming aesthetic.
