Project Overview
This primary bathroom had great potential—but its outdated layout and lack of function made daily use a frustrating experience. The small, cramped shower and limited vanity space didn’t support the homeowners’ needs, and the space simply wasn’t enjoyable to be in. Having already updated other areas of their home, the clients were ready to bring the bathroom up to par—both in function and in style.
The design goal was clear: create a more open, functional layout while incorporating the navy and gray tones the homeowners loved—all within an economy-friendly budget. By prioritizing smart design choices, custom touches, and efficient use of space, we were able to deliver a finished bathroom that feels clean, elevated, and perfectly tailored to their everyday needs.

Scope of Work
To address the clients' frustrations with their existing layout, we reconfigured the space into one large, open bathroom. The new, expanded double vanity offers significantly more countertop and storage space while serving as a striking design feature with its rich navy finish and modern black fixtures. The small, enclosed shower was replaced with a large, glass-enclosed walk-in shower, instantly making the room feel more spacious and functional.
A key part of the project’s success was balancing cost-conscious decisions with impactful design. Floating shelves in a custom gray stain added warmth and storage while maintaining the open feel. We also added smart built-in storage to the half wall by the toilet—perfect for keeping essentials close but out of sight.
Modern lighting, a standout wall sconce, and sleek black mirrors completed the look, bringing elevated style to every corner of the room.

This remodel was a great example of how a smooth, efficient process leads to excellent results. The clients entered our Project Development phase coming in with a clear vision for their bathroom and a readiness to make decisions. Their decisiveness and preparation made the design process incredibly efficient—we were able to work through selections, layouts, and refinements without delay. During pre-production, we focused on ordering materials, learning product lead times, obtaining permits, and scheduling trade partners. Once construction starts, a typical bathroom remodel takes about 4-6+ weeks. Thanks to that strong foundation, production began right on schedule and progressed seamlessly. Every phase of the project—from demolition to final finishes—ran smoothly, with no major setbacks or delays. The remodel was completed exactly three months after the start of Project Development. This timeline is a testament to thoughtful planning, great communication, and the power of clear goals. It was a textbook remodel from start to finish.
