Steve and Susie's Kitchen Remodel
Lancaster, Pennsylvania
LANCASTER, PA KITCHEN REMODEL
A Gorgeous Green Kitchen Refresh
With their kids grown and out of the house, Steve and Susie set out to refresh their kitchen into a space that better reflects their style. By building on features they already loved, the remodel also extended into the laundry room and home office for a cohesive, updated look.
Project Goals
-
Refresh the kitchen to better reflect the homeowners’ style while preserving existing features
-
Introduce updated cabinetry and finishes for a more modern, cohesive look
-
Extend the updated design into the laundry room and home office for continuity
The Challenge
Steve and Susie liked much of their existing kitchen layout and core features, so a full remodel wasn’t necessary. The challenge was to create a meaningful transformation without changing the footprint—working around existing elements like countertops while ensuring the updated design still felt fresh, cohesive, and aligned with their style. Extending that same look into adjacent spaces added another layer of coordination.
The Solution
A targeted kitchen facelift focused on cabinetry created the biggest impact. Existing cabinet boxes were refreshed with new doors and a two-tone color palette, introducing contrast and personality while tying into the existing countertops. Updated hardware added a subtle finishing touch, and the same cabinetry style was carried into the laundry room and home office to create a cohesive feel throughout. The result is a home that feels updated and personalized—without the need for a full renovation.
