The Challenge
The existing bathroom had an awkward circulation issue: the swinging shower door and bathroom entry door competed for the same space. Beyond updating the room aesthetically, the homeowners wanted a bathroom that simply worked better for everyday use. During Design Development, we also revisited portions of the scope to make sure the final plan balanced their priorities with their desired investment.
The Solution
Small but strategic layout changes made a meaningful difference. We replaced the existing entry with a single door and shifted its location slightly to create more room around the shower. A sliding glass shower door eliminated the previous door conflict altogether while giving the shower a cleaner, more open appearance. Fresh finishes—including white cabinetry, arched mirrors, a blue accent wall, and marble-inspired shower surrounds—brought new personality to the space. By focusing the design on both function and the homeowners' priorities, the finished bathroom feels refreshed, comfortable, and easier to use every day.
