A Fresh and Modern First Floor and Primary Bathroom Remodel
This project combines a first-floor remodel with a primary bathroom and closet renovation to create a more cohesive, functional home. By reworking key living spaces and updating the primary suite, the result is a home that feels connected, organized, and thoughtfully designed for everyday living.
Project Goals
-
Create a more open, connected first-floor layout for improved flow and everyday living
-
Modernize key spaces with a clean, cohesive design and updated finishes
-
Enhance the primary suite with a more functional bathroom layout and organized closet space
The Challenge
The original first floor felt closed off, with a kitchen layout that limited space and connection to surrounding rooms. Outdated finishes throughout the kitchen, dining, and living areas made the home feel disconnected and less inviting. At the same time, the primary bathroom and closet lacked the layout and functionality needed for everyday comfort. The challenge was to update multiple areas of the home in a way that felt cohesive while improving both flow and usability.
The Solution
By removing walls and reconfiguring the layout, the first floor was transformed into an open, connected space centered around a large kitchen island designed for gathering. Updated cabinetry, finishes, and flooring create a clean, modern look that flows seamlessly into the dining and living areas. In the primary suite, a redesigned bathroom layout—with a tiled shower, double vanity, and separate toilet room—improves both comfort and function, while the attached walk-in closet adds organization and efficiency. The result is a cohesive home that balances modern design with everyday practicality.
